CFMOTO factory suspension settings
The factory baseline suspension settings for each CFMOTO model — front and rear preload, compression and rebound — with the source reference behind every value.
How to read the table
LegendValues extracted from official CFMOTO manuals — see the Owner's manuals page for the source behind each model.
Read each cell front then rear:Preload·Compression·Rebound
Example — Front4 turns1010 means 4 turns of preload, 10 clicks of compression and 10 clicks of rebound. Preload keeps its unit (turns or mm); compression and rebound are always in clicks.

Notes
Reference- 1 Factory chart for the 800MT-X / 800MT. To dial a value, turn the adjuster all the way anti-clockwise until it stops (the zero point), then count the clicks clockwise from there.
- 2 Reference only, not used in normal weight calculation.
- 3 Factory chart from the 1000MT-X manual. To dial a value, turn the adjuster all the way clockwise until it stops (the zero point), then count the clicks back anti-clockwise from there. Front preload is measured in millimetres.
- 4 Estimate: the official 800NK manual has no per-load chart — only a single 10-click factory baseline for the fork (compression/rebound) and rear rebound; preload is set by the dealer. To dial a value, turn the adjuster all the way anti-clockwise to its soft stop, then count the clicks clockwise (clockwise makes it firmer).
- 5 Estimate. Rear compression is not adjustable on the 800NK.
- 6 Factory chart from the 700MT manual. Rear preload is in turns. For rear rebound, turn the adjuster all the way clockwise to its firmest stop, then count the clicks back anti-clockwise (anti-clockwise softens). For the front, turn it all the way anti-clockwise to the stop, then count the clicks clockwise (clockwise firms it up).
- 7 Factory chart from 700MT manual image. Equipment / three-box setup.
- 8 Factory chart from 700MT manual image. Rider + pillion setup.
- 9 Factory chart from 700MT manual image. Full load setup.
- 10 Reference only, not used in normal weight calculation. Recommendation applies for general road and light off-road conditions.
- 11 Official 450MT chart base. Factory damping is 10 gears/clicks. Chart note: shock absorber adjustment suits one rider only.
- 12 Official three-box reference. Speed control: below 75 mph. Factory damping remains 10 gears/clicks.
- 13 Official 450MT lower-seat base. Factory damping is 10 gears/clicks. Chart note: shock absorber adjustment suits one rider only.
- 14 Official lower-seat three-box reference. Speed control: below 75 mph. Factory damping remains 10 gears/clicks.
- 15 Factory chart from 650NK manual. Rear shock has 7 preload positions (1 = soft, 7 = stiff); position 3 is standard for a 75kg solo rider. Front fork is not adjustable; rear compression damping is not provided.
- 16 Factory chart from the 700CL-X manual (Sport / Heritage / Adventure share the same suspension). Every damping adjuster leaves the factory at 10 clicks, out of a range of about 20 (±2) clicks. To dial a value, turn the adjuster all the way anti-clockwise until it stops, then count the clicks clockwise from there.
- 17 Reference value, not interpolated by weight.
